What singers said about their experience at the Academy in 2025

“The best thing about the Academy was the perspective it gave me on why I sing, who I'm singing for, and how my artistry affects the world. It was the best gift I could've received.”

“The Opera Academy was transformative and full of joy. My summer in France turned into a beautiful adventure I’ll always remember, and the best thing about the Academy was the supportive community that made every moment unforgettable.”

“The coaches there make the program worth attending.”

“I never would have been accepted into the Young Artist Program I’m now joining without the experience I had at the Opéra des Landes.”

“When the lights in the house came on after the show, I saw the full audience. Even though I already knew the tickets were sold out and how large the hall was, I was still deeply impressed and surprised. Standing alone on such a big stage requires intense focus, and it was a great opportunity to perform there for such a supportive audience.”

“The repertoire was appropriately challenging, and incredibly fun! I was encouraged to step outside my comfort zone, but always accommodated if I felt anything was too much for me. I very much enjoyed the addition of the Broadway repertoire; it greatly added to my experience overall.”

“This is such a great program. The audiences in France are so much different than the ones in America. I couldn’t believe how many people showed up just to see us, even on a street corner. It made me want to sing to them forever.”

“The gala performance at the Castle was truly the highlight of my stay: the venue was stunning, the audience warm and numerous, and the whole atmosphere felt professional and elegant. I felt like royalty singing there!

We’d love to welcome YOU next summer.
